Yellow Pages or Online Lawyer Videos?

There has been a lot of speculation over marketing techniques that are used for an offline business in comparison to one that is online. There are a number of businesses that get customers through yellow pages, but to create greater awareness they have chosen the internet as a means to spread the word. This is the case with law firms. The question that you need to ask yourself is would a lawyer or  law firm be better off advertising in the yellow pages or through online lawyer videos?

Ask yourself and be honest, how many times have you ever referred to the yellow pages? The only time you usually refers to the yellow pages is if you do not have access to the internet, or more commonly, when you do not find what you were looking for online. There are a number of different reasons as to why you should opt for online lawyer videos over yellow pages. When trying to find an answer to such a situation, try thinking about the concept of using the internet as apposed to a library. The scenario is pretty much the same, with a few other factors.

What you have to remember about the yellow pages is that the book is only limited to a particular area. This automatically limits your market exposure, meaning you will not be getting as many clients as you would have hoped to. This is why online lawyer videos are more favored in terms of online marketing. In the current day and age that we live in today, there is no doubt that more people have started to rely on the internet.

It does not matter what the reason or purpose is, the first place any one decides to look is the internet. Weather you want to find information, are looking for a service, want to buy something etc. everyone uses the internet as their main source of information. Seeing as the internet not only acts as a market to sell goods and services but also acts as an information provider as well, you would be better off choosing the concept of online lawyer videos.

 There are numerous benefits to having online lawyer videos in comparison to posting your ad in the yellow pages. The biggest benefit is having a larger market exposure. If you decide to go with the yellow pages option, seeing as it is limited to your surrounding area, how many customers do you think you will get? At most, you would only be targeting a thousand individuals in your area through the yellow pages, out of which even if you get one or two, you should consider yourself lucky. The best part about online videos is that they give you a market exposure in the millions across the entire state. This in effect creates a high chance for your organization to be noticed.

    That second paragraph is SO true. The last time I actively looked in the yellow pages was because I couldn’t find info for a local business online, and that was about…six years ago? Times have really changed, even since then!

    100% agree with this one ~ I never use a telephone book anymore. Heck my teenage kids don’t even know how to use one, everything is online. We have the world at our fingertips and I mean the whole world. Advertising online is the way to go – yellow pages is so yesterday!
