Law Firm Video Marketing

The strategies used for marketing will determine the success or failure of online marketing. Using the right strategies is extremely important for success. Similarly, law firms also depend completely on certain strategies in their marketing, which will help them achieve tremendous success and growth in the marketing process. These strategies can really make a huge difference and will ensure that the marketing plan of the law firm is effective and works accurately. These days, law firms have started using modern technology to market. Law firm video marketing on the  internet has become very popular of late.

Nowadays, generally, online law firm marketing has also been doing well. As a result, clients have started visiting websites and have started accepting the concept of marketing with the internet. When designing these websites, the law firms must make sure that the website has a completely formal look without flashy colors, fancy animations etc. and must avoid too many security procedures such as password checks for every page. The website should appear very professional and should not have a casual feel. Law firm video marketing has also been accepted by clients worldwide.

In law firm video marketing, there are  are certain rules to follow, and breaking these rules will notget a lawyer or law firm very far. These rules are for every marketing firm, which use videos to market themselves and they are mostly pure common sense. Firstly, the law firm should avoid disparaging another law firm in their video. Boasting about one’s own law firm or blowing their own horn in the video will only make their clients think very lowly of them. Hence, this should be strictly avoided. The law firm should also make sure that no lawyer is criticized in the video. Breaking this particular rule will land the law firm in deep trouble and they may have to face severe consequences.

In marketing with video, law firms  should of course follow the professional rules promulgated by the state bar of the practicing lawyer or lawyers in the video. These videos should refrain from making guarantees that can’t or won’t be kept since failure to keep these guarantees can put the firm at risk of loosing their reputation. In order to avoid this, guarantees which cannot be fulfilled should not be included in the video at any cost. In the video used to market the law, firms should try to limit repeating annoying marketing slogans as they tend to  look quite amateurish and does not portray professionalism. Law firms should not try to sell themselves too much in the video.

In employing law firm video marketing  whereby law firms use video spokes persons who look like salespersons trying to sell you a product may not help. Client are more interested in hearing about how the the law firm can help them in their particlular case, not how flashy the law firm is.

Interesting information about the legal aspect of including guarantees in a video. As lawyers, you would think most of us would realize the legal implications that could have…but I’m sure there are plenty that don’t even think about it, just trying to make the video as persuasive as possible.

I don’t think we would guarantee anything in a video, it would be more of a discussion on anything that was happening right now in the world and how to handle it with a lawyer. I think that would bring more interest then our lawyers just talking?
