Really excellent article, and one I wish more lawyers would watch. Online videos aren’t really that new, but you’d think they were some weird and strange new invention by the way some of my colleagues react to them.
@MRoomer, that seems to be the reaction to a lot of video advertising these days. From my experience, people seem to think it’s strange to see people advertising with videos online…when we’ve been doing it for decades on tv….
Matt, to be fair I would say that videos on YouTube have taken a while to evolve from someone singing bad karaoke versions of classics, to what it is today. There’s going to be no place for those who resist these new techniques, though it’s probably hard for older people to fully grasp how important they are.
